Posesion (1993)

An El Salvadoran deserter arrives in the United States having escaped his country's civil war. Accepting work as a gardener, he stumbles upon the dead body of the house's owner and later encounters his ex-wife and child. Reminded of his own wife and daughter back in El Salvador the deserter decides to return home.
