In Latitudes of the Future is the verse that concludes Marina Tsvetaeva's 1924 poem Ostrov [The Island] in which she describes a distant but maybe possible utopia. The film recalls the lost dreams of the men and women who daily responded to the call of the Russian Revolution, and is also a reflection on the impulse to change and its limits in a world of cyclical issues, always left to solve.
