A Kid from Somewhere (2018)

A Kid From Somewhere, a Free Studio Production, directed by Paul Johnston and Adam Beck and presented by The Creator Class, captures the ambition of a new generation of kids seeking to find their voice, and careers, through their art. The film offers an intimate look behind the lens and screens we see the world through, stripping away the gloss to show an honest look at the challenges faced by young artists; chronicling their hopes, fears and triumphs as they navigate an ever-changing digital landscape. Following LA Timpa, Pat O'Rourke and Olivia Bee photography during distinct stages in their lives are linked by a common drive: to avoid the trapping of apathy and find the best version of themselves through their work.
