I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)

A young woman goes on a trip with her boyfriend to his parents' remote farm in order to get to know them. However, she goes through her own contradiction as she is not sure she wants to continue the relationship. A parallel story of a school janitor is interspersed with the central story. Based on a novel by Iain Reid, this surrealist-tinged psychological thriller directed by Charlie Kaufman is fascinating, intriguing and quite an experience in itself.
