Grunstadt (2018)

The short is inspired by the strong performance of the Nazi party in Brazil, mainly in the 1930s. Brazil was the country, outside of Germany obviously, that most had official members. The party had offices all over the country. The story revolves around the character Eva Heumman who flees from Nazi Germany and arrives in December 1937 in Glebe Grünstadt, in northern Paraná, in search of refuge. Receibed by Nazi flags waving freely in the skies of the village, she is faced with the fear and doubt to live beside the enemy. Exposed wounds, nerves coming out .. the silent waiting for wick's putting out.
