The Last Koan (2019)

A writer who has unresolved issues with his dead mother who abandoned him as a child and a woman who has intermixed the identities of her husband and his best friend, explore the meaning of life, death, love and forgiveness. The film inquires into 2000-year-old Asian existentialism alongside modern European existentialism. Sartre meets Buddha.
