For Noah and Margret, the summer before junior high is spent desperately trying to fit in with the older boys. Their desperation comes to a head when they all go check out the abandoned mill. After being called a derogatory word for homosexual males, their friendship is tested as they begin to explore the weight of the word, and the effect it has on the world around them.
