Shoplifters (2018)

Shoplifters follows the Shibatas, a poverty-stricken family who survive by petty theft. After leaving a store, Osamu and his son find Yuri, a little girl who appears to have been abandoned and abused, and decide to take her home. The girl is informally adopted and integrated into their family dynamic, but an unexpected incident reveals secrets that threaten to shatter the family's stability.
