Pandemic - a contagious, infectious or viral illness that is not limited to one specific geographic region with the potential to include billions of people in many areas and countries across the globe. Dr. Felix Lazarus, founder of The Lazarus Foundation, claims to have developed a revolutionary new drug to combat the global Fatal Familial Insomnia pandemic. Will the drug work, and is Dr. Lazarus all he proclaims to be? Meanwhile, when a young homeless girl is found murdered in an abandoned building, agents Laura Anderson and Becci Walker of the Civil Protection Agency are assigned to investigate. At first glance it looks like an open and shut case, but things aren't always quite as they seem.
