Nine years later, this one is still special to me. Some of the undercard matches could be better, but the good far outweighs the bad. Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews team up for the first time in SHIMMER. Jetta debuts against an unfortunate Serena. Allison Danger finally settles the score with Cindy Rogers. An unknown Alexa Thatcher bravely wrestles an unwinnable match with Cheerleader Melissa. Daizee Haze and Sarah Stock absolutely tear the house down; every second of their match is a thing of beauty and the finish, like everything else, comes out of nowhere. Finally, Sara Del Rey defends the title against Amazing Kong. It was the most highly anticipated main event in SHIMMER history and the ending leaves the crowd in disbelief. If you're even a little bit interested in women's wrestling and you haven't seen this show--find a way.
