To Leslie (2022)

Leslie Rowlands, a single mother living in Texas, won a large sum of money in the lottery, but she loses her earnings, her house and also her bond with son James. Years later, Leslie reaches to James and he urges her to stay sober, but Leslie can't yet overcome her addiction and her old friends seem distant. A tough drama to watch that captures attention by dint of intense performances, with a sublime Andrea Riseborough as well as a palpable chemistry with Marc Maron that elevates a very well told story.
