UI - Soon We Will All Be One (2018)

A radio crackles through the vastness of an Arctic landscape. Ranger Kira on her snow glider receives yet another tedious patrol mission by her dispatch officer Alan - just when she'd been on her way back to home base. When Kira arrives on location, she is struck by the sight of an utterly otherworldly object - amid the endless ice and snow stands a monolithic structure, one that the experienced ranger has never seen before. Even though Alan, with whom she shares an intimate past, fights hard to stop her from approaching the mysterious monolith, Kira is determined to explore this strangely enthralling tower. A calming silence envelopes the stone walls of the structure. When the front side reveals an elongated steel door, Kira breaks in - and finds herself caught in utter darkness, as the door slams shut. In the dim light of her torch Kira discovers a room that is utterly bizarre, like no man has seen before. When she realizes that she can't even get a radio signal out of the hermetically sealed cube, it dawns on her that this trap could mark the turning point of a story greater than her own.
