C'est La Vie (2018)

C'est La Vie - French for 'Such is Life', is a short film about a guy who runs away to the desert to clear his head and forget the girl who broke his heart. We cut between this desert drifter in the majestic red sand mountains of Wadi Rum to memories of love, home, and heartbreak. In a way, it is an ode to Surrealism - an art movement in the 20s and 30s that celebrated the absurd since reason and logic could no longer be trusted, so its quirky. Really though, its about waking up to the bizarre, messed up nature of life - C'est La Vie.
