**Disclaimer: A 44-minute rough assembly (preview) of this title, Tooton's Photography: In The Business Of Making Memories, was initially screened, on March 1st, 2018, to a sold-out audience at The Rooms in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. From there, it was stretched to a running time of 70-minutes (rough-cut) and screened at the Niagara Artist's Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Then the project was submitted to apply for support from the National Film Board of Canada through the Filmmaker's Assistance Program, that it received. Which brings us to today. A completed (July, 2021), with additional editing by Christopher Darlington, 41-minute cut, produced in association with the National Film Board of Canada that is ready for broadcast.** The Tootons processed and printed more than 100 million rolls of film from 1905 to 1995 in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. This family documented our people, places, and history. Anthony McGrath Tooton (IV) takes us on his journey of documenting this important family's legacy, started by his Great-Grandfather, who was born a Maronite originally from Damascus, Syria. The film is a passionate Immigrant's, and business, story of undying commitment, endearing love, and unique success.
