Michael Potter, the executive producer, explained the genesis of the film. "We originally interviewed Shimon Peres in connection with the award-winning documentary film, "The University." The documentary team realized that his words were so impactful and inspiring that the team felt the footage had to be shared as a dedicated short film." Shimon Peres has always been a champion of technology and science as positive forces for societal change. Peres famously mused, "I did not dream of becoming president of Israel. My dream as a boy was to be a shepherd or a poet to the stars." His timeless message of the use of technology, science and innovation as a tool for changing the world is reflected in these interviews.
