Storyline:  In London, a brutal serial killer dubbed "The Necktie Murderer" terrorizes the city, raping and strangling women with a necktie. When Brenda Blaney is found murdered, suspicion falls on her ex-husband, Richard Blaney, a struggling former RAF squadron leader. Misfortune piles on Richard as another victim, his girlfriend Babs, is killed, and he is framed by the real murderer. Arrested and sentenced, Richard escapes to clear his name.
