Ripe Cherry (1973)

Helmut Kamp, no longer a young man in his forties, is an experienced and respected foundation builder. He receives an offer to participate in the construction of a nuclear power plant in the Baltic jointly with the USSR. But he has a house in Thuringia, two adult daughters, and in addition his wife Elfrida is expecting a child. And here he is faced with woeful problems - his wife tragically dies, he remains with the baby in his arms, relations with his youngest daughter are not going well.
