Anna's Engagement (1972)

Anna, the meek live-in housekeeper of an Athenian bourgeois family, is about to meet for the first time her future husband, Kosmas, on a hot summer Sunday. After ten long years, Anna goes out on a date--and even though the two reluctant beloveds seem compatible--strong personal interests stand in the way of her emancipation. Will Anna accept her fate?
