Soviet counterintelligence receives information about the Nazis' intentions to infiltrate Moscow and sabotage a strategically important military plant. Sergei Biryukov, an experienced and brave NKVD agent, receives the task of establishing contact with the German spy Keller and finding out the date of this dangerous operation.
