Ballagó idö (1976)

The adolescent Pisti, spends his summer vacation with his parents and grandmother in a small village. He has a vivid imagination: through old objects found in the attic, conversations of animals, and stories told by his grandmother and his neighbor, the history of his family comes to life, even the world of the betyárs. While committing mischief, Pisti also begins to see the realities of life. He tastes wine and smokes cigarettes for the first time, sees what living with old age and death is like, and also finds his first love.
