Smog (1973)

In the Ruhr area, a life-threatening smog situation has been ongoing for four days, and this human-caused environmental disaster is spreading. The streets are clogged with cars releasing foul gases, and factory waste dumps are leaking unfiltered pollutants. As conditions worsen and the first illness cases emerge, the authorities pull the emergency brake - declaring a smog alert, closing roads, and halting vehicle traffic. Yet, the smog has already claimed its first victim.
