The Godfather Part II (1974)

The story chronicles the rise of Vito Corleone from a young boy in Sicily, where his family is murdered by a local mafia Don, to becoming one of the most powerful crime lords in 1920s New York. After escaping to America, Vito slowly builds his criminal empire, earning respect and fear along the way. Meanwhile, in the 1950s, his son Michael takes control of the family’s operations, ruthlessly expanding their influence.
