Autumn Sonata (1978)

Eva, wife of a village pastor who cares for her disabled sister Helena, invites her estranged mother Charlotte, a renowned pianist, for a visit after seven years of no contact. Charlotte's surprise at seeing Helena and her interactions with Eva lead to a night of intense emotional confrontation, where long-buried grievances and unresolved tensions between mother and daughter come to the surface.
