Storyline:  A pre-revolutionary tale of a village in Georgia and the dreams and yearnings of its inhabitants. The focus is on the love story between Marita, a recently arrived young woman, and Gedia, a poor young man whom the village elders do not consider a good candidate for marriage. The traditions, frustrations and yearnings of the villagers are narrated from a poetic but arduous point of view, putting their possibility of dreaming in constant crisis.
