Les fougères bleues (1977)

A bourgeois couple, Jérôme and Monika, along with the husband's best friend and his escort girl, Stanislas and Betty, spend a weekend in the mountains in a hunting lodge. Stanislas thinks that Jérôme does not deserve Monika and he intends to take advantage of this two-day break to sleep with her. Betty, whose companion despises and humiliates her, consoles herself with Antoine, the warden of the chalet, a simple-minded young man. Stanislas and Jérôme go hunting in the mountains while Monika is reading and Betty is shopping in Chamonix.
