Network (1976)

Howard Beale, a veteran news anchor, faces termination after his ratings plummet. In despair, he announces his intent to commit suicide live on air but instead delivers an impassioned rant that resonates with viewers, skyrocketing the network's ratings. An ambitious producer seizes the opportunity and transforms Beale into "the mad prophet of the airwaves". As Beale's influence grows, he exposes corporate schemes, pitting himself against the network's executives.
