Storyline:  Nick, hiding in a cheap hotel and suffering from an ulcer, believes a mob boss has ordered his death. He calls his lifelong friend Mikey, who spends the night trying to calm him and get him out of town. Their tense journey through bars, clubs, and streets tests their friendship, while a hired killer quietly closes in, fed by someone close to Nick.
