A Man Without a Wife (1983)

In the rural village of Viitaniemi, there is plenty of space, land, forests, and many big plans, but every other house is missing a wife. Bachelor farmer Unto Puumalainen sets out to find a bride with serious intentions, and in the midst of the changing countryside, the villagers must also find new ways to make a living.
