The film recreated the events that occurred during the Great Patriotic War. The Korsun-Shevchenkovskiy battle was a brilliantly conducted operation by the Soviet General Staff, with which 1944 began. This is a story about events taking place in the Korsun-Shevchenkov region. The enemy's grouping was located there, preventing two Ukrainian fronts from uniting and moving further to the Southern Bug. The task was set clearly and uncompromisingly - to destroy the enemy. The generals of the two armies Vatutin and Konev think over everything to the smallest detail, no mistakes can be made. All this is not easy, since at the same time battles are being fought from other sides.
