Fright Night (1985)

Charley Brewster, an avid horror movie enthusiast, becomes convinced that his neighbor, Jerry Dandridge, is a vampire. Seeking assistance from Peter Vincent, a former movie star turned TV host, Charley embarks on a mission to thwart his neighbor's sinister intentions. But unraveling this supernatural plot won't come easy, as even the police refuse to believe them.
