Lost Romance (1986)

The only celluloid romantic connection between two of Hong Kong's biggest superstars - CHOW Yun-Fat and Maggie CHEUNG. Adapted from one of the best-selling novels by YI Shu - Hong Kong's own Francois Sagan, STORY OF ROSE tells the tale of a beautiful young woman, Rose, living an idyllic life with her brother in Hong Kong. They are close; so close that their bond has a subtle hint of incest. The bond is broken when her brother dies, until one day Rose meets a young guy named Ga-Ming who looks like her deceased brother.
