Drôle de samedi (1985)

A Saturday in Neuchâtel. A day where Véronique and Pierre have lots of things to do. Pierre has to go to the dentist, Véronique has to take care of supplies, we have to get a camera for repair - A day that promises to be very busy. But none of this will happen. Because this Saturday of Pierre and Véronique will be disturbed by a whole series of tangled events of which they will cross the protagonists, with whom they will sometimes only be partially involved, but who make the details of the day. It is Maurice, the butcher, who, after dreaming that he was condemned to death for having transformed his wife into salami, murdered his work colleagues while Véronique waited for him to serve her - a salami. It's a strange meal in a shabby restaurant where the employees get sick. It is a friend of Véronique who cheats on her husband with an enigmatic flirt. It is a curious dentist, with whom Pierre had an appointment, who massacres the jaw of an old customer before losing his calm in front of a kid reasoner. It's Véronique's new hairstyle that displeases Pierre. It is Georges, driving instructor friend of the couple, struggling with a neuropath, candidate for the license. It is an esthetician who sets off a family drama. And it is finally a kindergarten animator who sees her daycare devastated by a small character. In addition, Véronique and Pierre are in trouble with a supermarket detective. But when the evening comes, both will forget these adventures .
