Storyline:  Larry Darrell returns from the battlefields of World War I to America a different person. His fiancée, Isabel, accepts a delay in their wedding when Larry heads to Paris, where he embraces a simpler life and begins reading. Inspired by a book, he travels to India and Nepal, finding spiritual guidance from a lama. Returning to Paris, he reunites with Isabel and old friends, only to discover that everyone has changed.
