Devil's Paradise (1987)

On a remote island in the heart of the Java Sea, Escher and his partner Quinn live isolated, managing a coal mine long abandoned by its owners. As Quinn grows restless, he makes a fatal mistake, violating a sacred native ritual deep in the jungle. His brutal death leaves Escher burdened by guilt. After traveling to the mainland to report Quinn’s demise, Escher returns to the island, danger follows, as malevolent forces close in from all sides.
