Three for the Road (1987)

A female character just shy of 18 years old has a romantic relationship wtih a man in his 20's. The two strip down to extremely skimpy underwear and go swimming and passionately kiss in the water.

A girl pretends to have eaten gopher poison in a suicide attempt.

A variety of chase scenes ensue but are played mostly for comedic effect.

A young girl who has been abused by her father attempts to escape a boarding school where he has imprisoned her; he catches her and strikes her across the face.
