To Live and Die in L.A. (1985)

A fearless Secret Service agent, haunted by his partner's brutal murder, is obsessed with bringing down a ruthless counterfeiter who knows how to manipulate both the law and those who enforce it. As the agent dives deeper into the criminal underworld, his pursuit becomes increasingly reckless, forcing his by-the-book partner into a dangerous game of survival. With each step closer to the counterfeiter, the more their morality seems to fade.
