Zits (1988)

The main characters are thirteen-year-olds in the throes of puberty, and they talk about it amongst themselves in a frank but mostly non-vulgar, almost gentle way. Pubic hair, masturbation, boobs, and periods are mentioned, and of course, zits. Several times, a girl hints to a shy guy that she wants him to touch her breasts.

The sound of gunfire is heard when small model airplanes shoot at another model plane. One plane crashes and burns.

About ten uses throughout the film, including "son of a b*tch" and "damn." No very strong language such as "f*ck" or "c*nt"; no slurs.

One "bad guy" smokes nearly continuously during his scenes. Nothing else.

The very youngest viewers might be worried when the kids get in trouble, but the movie is generally light-hearted.
