In 1952, a will was read on the Mollwitz estate in the Lüneburg district, as Countess Henriette Else Amalie von Mollwitz had died. In her will, she had stipulated that she should be buried next to her husband, who was buried in her homeland, which is now in the territory of the GDR and which she had left in 1945 because of the invasion of the Red Army.
