Storyline:  Nigel, a bored Englishman, and his wife meet Oscar and his attractive and troubled wife, Mimi, a paraplegic American, during a cruise across the ocean. Nigel begins to feel drawn to Mimi, and Oscar, who notices, suggests that he pursue her romantically. Roman Polanski makes a point to overplay the dynamics between the alluring couple with wordy clarity, it is a pure cinema experience.
