Laughter of the Water Margins (1993)

Ruffian Wu Song is on the way to Yanggu County to see his elder brother. He deceives for eating and drinking when getting by Jingyang Hill and then kills a tiger in drunk by accident. People surround and take him back to Yanggu County, and the magistrate names him as head constable. Wu's brother and his wife Pan are planning to make money from silly rich Ximen by cheating. They have to conceal the plan from Wu Song.
