Saviors of the Forest (1993)

Two young filmmakers decided to support the fight for the environment by setting out to investigate and expose the ecocriminals responsible for the devastation of the rainforest. Along the way, they meet various paradoxical individuals, for example, poor residents plundering forests for survival, environmentalists trying to introduce "ecological" mining, logging companies agitating for reforestation, and Hollywood producers, who use huge quantities of plywood made from forest trees to make films about the protection of forests. By means of a satirical style, the pair of filmmakers approaches serious topics of today.
