Before OJ Simpson was even in handcuffs following his historic car chase, people were on the phone plotting ways to make money off what would become the trial of the century. From books being written, edited, and printed in a matter of weeks to wildly inflated prices for OJ paraphernalia, anything OJ was money in the bank. Tabloids and TV Specials muddied the waters of the case, paying witnesses for soundbites while damaging their credibility on the stand trying to get in on the action.
