Storyline:  Lenny and his wife Amanda adopt Max, who quickly shows remarkable intelligence. Convinced his biological parents must share that brilliance, Lenny searches for them and learns Max’s mother is Linda Ash, a cheerful sex worker and adult performer. Surprised by her background, he tries to steer her life in a new direction, as a Greek chorus comments on the story with mythic parallels.
