The violence in this movie is quite frequent, strong, and bloody. However, it is more graphic in the Unrated version than in the R Rated version.
A girl cuts her hand and sprays blood on the mangler.
An old lady gets caught in the mangler, and it slowly crushes her body as it drags her into the machinery. This is a very gory scene that is quite drawn out, as her work mates try to save her. The remains of her body are glimpsed at briefly in a crime scene context. We later see her face that has been reformed to the best of the morgue workers' ability.
The mangler releases a steam hose that burns some of the female workers. We see the aftermath on one of the girls' faces later on, as she is in the hospital, suffering terribly.
A man gets his arm caught in the mangler, which it proceeds to pull him into its gears. A coworker is forced to cut his caught arm off with an axe to free him (graphic and gory).
A man on his death bed coughs up some blood.
A girl is hit over the head from behind with a wooden blunt instrument. She is then restrained and put into sleep via chlorophyll.
A woman is pushed into the mangler, which pulls her in and mangles her.
An old man is knocked onto some folding pads, which proceed to fold his body in on itself, forcing his limbs to bend and snap until he dies.
A man is cut in half by the mangler (graphic and gory).

Stanner begins to get depressed after realizing that Gartley doesn't care about the deaths of his workers. He is threatened by Gartley and later dies.
The mangler comes alive and literally starts hobbling around, chasing the three protagonists through the factory.
Officer Hunton mentions that his wife was killed in a car accident. Sherry's parents were also killed in an accident.
A little boy suffocates inside an ice box and his corpse is seen while his grieving parents cry.
