Storyline:  After attacking a man in a fit of rage, Texas preacher Sonny Dewey flees town, adopts the name Apostle E.F., and settles in Louisiana. There, he begins preaching on the radio and in the streets, joining Reverend Blackwell in restoring a church, hoping for redemption through faith and service.
