Storyline:  Three-time MVP Bobby Rayburn joins the San Francisco Giants, exciting obsessive fan Gil Renard, who sells hunting knives. But Rayburn delivers the worst season of his career, and Renard, determined to support him, takes matters into his own hands. What begins as devotion soon becomes an excessive attempt to influence the player’s fate.
