Dragon Ball Z (1989)

After winning the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku lives peacefully with his family on Earth. But this peace is soon shattered by the arrival of a mysterious figure who claims to be Goku's long lost brother, Raditz, and that they are descendants of a warrior race known as the Saiyans, which fails to convince Goku to join him, leading to Raditz kidnapping Gohan and Goku teaming up with Piccolo to rescue him. This anime is a sequel to the classic Dragon Ball and is widely regarded as one of the best action anime ever released.
