The movie starts out with the hero seducing and making love with his girlfriend, which is censored through suggestive, abstract imagery (doves making love, hills rising, flowers blooming, etc).

Stylized, cartoony violence against invading Turks, monsters, demons and other fantasy creatures. Hungarian hussars mow down the Turkish army, though most gory acts are played for laughs.

Multiple scenes feature drinking alcohol. At one point, the hero waits for the bandits to get drunk so he can steal their loot.

The film contains many scenes that kids may find frightening, though the artstyle is deliberately heavily stylized and not realistic.
