Summer in a Norway brings trouble to the overworked justice system. Detective Hanne Wilhelmsen and Inspector Håkon Sand must search for a possible serial-killer and a brutal rapist. At the same time they are dealing with their own personal relationships. The rape victim and her father are struggling to deal with the aftermath.
