The Trout (1942)

Drama about a woman (Bodil Ipsen) whose husband is caught in a fraud case. She is in despair and seeks help from her former lovers. The very different reactions she gets to her inquiries teach her little about life, love and friendship. Bodil Ipsen is firmly at the center of this story about the unpredictability of life, based on an audio play by Wilfred Christensen. Other prominent roles include Emanuel Gregers (who also directed the film), Ejner Federspiel and Grethe Holmer.
